Young Children

Stop! Think! Eco-Check! The Early Education initiative for developing environmental minds.
During all of our young childhood programs, look for key ‘Stop and Think” moments which help children initiate lifelong habits towards a more earth-friendly and conservation minded lifestyle.

Stop - Before you squish that native ant!
Think - Do I need that extra paper plate?
Eco- check - Did I just throw away a plastic bag that could be recycled?

Join us as we explore the natural world around us, and celebrate the Zoo’s 100 years of conservation!
