Zoo grounds will be closing at 4:30 on both days of Zoo Boo.
Join the Zoo for some “spook”tacularly scary fun at the 28th Annual Halloween event, ZOO BOO at YOUR San Antonio Zoo.
Zoo Boo is an exciting, safe, and non-scary Halloween event for families with children 12 years of age or younger, held on the grounds of the San Antonio Zoo. Guests are encouraged to wear non-scary costumes.
Activities include trick-or-treating, face painting, entertainment, and games. Children can participate in the costume contest.
Helpful Zoo Boo Tips:
Purchase your Zoo Boo tickets in advance. All pre-paid ticket holders will enter through the Education Center. Make sure to look for directional signs.
Parking can be a hassle, so try car pooling if possible. Parking is available but limited. You can also park under the expressway off Tuleta Drive.
Remember to bring your own trick-or-treat bags.
Game tickets are available for purchase inside Zoo Boo for 25 cents a piece. All games are 2 tickets to play.
REMEMBER TO BAG IT! Trick or treat at Zoo Boo using reusable buckets, canvas bags or pillowcases.
Zoo Boo tickets go on sale Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at
the Zoo's front office.
Before October 30th: $6 non-members/ $5 members
October 30th and 31st: $7 non-members/ $6 members
Children 2 and under get in free.
Tickets are sold at the Zoo ONLY.
